Gorgeous Wedding Dresses

Written by Andrea. Published on Mar 9th 2010, 22:08. [ dresses, photos, designers ]

There is nothing better than having a spare hour on the internet to immerse yourself in wedding gown finery and with the summer styles firmly in stores it's definitely a time to have a little show and tell. If you have read our wedding dress guide you should now know what style will suit you, what colour best enhances your skin tone and what dress will work best with your wedding theme so with that in mind lets get onto looking at the dresses! Yay.

Firstly I thought we would have a look at some Grecian style dresses that would be perfect for that summer destination wedding or even a back yard chic garden wedding. Find the inner godess in you with these fabulously floaty gowns.

Culture Bridal Couture, Jenny Packham, Maggie Sottero

Next lets see some gorgeous full skirted ballgown style dresses. I adore the structured bodice of the Ian Stuart gown, so elegant yet so different.

Ian Stuart, Suzanne Neville, Stephanie Allin.

These figure hugging gowns are definitely for those with the confidence to pull it off, either that or some wonderful suction/structured underwear.

Amanda Wyatt, Charlotte Balbier, Justin Alexander.

A gorgeous pair of pins together with some gorgeous wedding shoes can be shown off perfectly with a tea length dress which is becoming more and more popular. So if you fancy going lighter and shorter here are a few gorgeous creations to whet your appetite.

Chanticleer Brides, Candy Anthony, Stephanie Allin.

I couldn't find a category to put these last ones into apart from the fact they are all utterly gorgeous. Does that count? Anyway here are the few which are my favourites just because I can.

The first is by the wonderful Sassi Holford and the last two are by the one and only Stewart Parvin (he designs for the queen don't you know).
