A bride and groom in Edinburgh decided to run the Great Edinburgh run just two hours before their wedding. They ran the 10K the morning of their wedding and invited guests to join them. Anna Henley and her new husband ran the race for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of her brother in law who died last year from cancer.
The bride said of her guests "My friends all thought I was mad when I suggested it but we're delighted so many of them came along on the race with us."
The bride also crossed the finish line in her new husbands arms.
It certainly gives new meaning to getting to the church on time.
