I am having hot pink large ties for the mens navy suits, should I match the buttonhole to the tie i.e. hot pink? Or should I keep to either ivory or white? thank you

I don't think there is a right and wrong answer to this one as I think either would look good.

We wanted to differentiate between the groomsmen and the groom at our wedding so we had the groom with something slightly different so how about doing that? The groomsmen could all have ivory and only the groom has hot pink? (or the other way around?) You could do alternate ties to buttonholes with the groom being different as a way of making sure the groom stands out - not that its really needed I think the giant smile and the pretty lady in white beside him all day will give it away :)

I really like a matching ribbon on the buttonhole to the tie it gives a touch of class. I also believe it's good for the grooms buttonhole to stand out but i would suggest all the ribbon on the buttonholes be hot pink but the grooms flower be different.
